could be one of a couple of things.
oil light indicator sensor is going out... could have sludge/crap in sensor opening in block.... or worst case the sensor is correct and oil level is correct and pump is going out...or/and picup screen is sump is clogged/filled with sludge/crap. put what vehicle/motor/miles etc in your sig.
