oil light under high rpms

my oil light flashes on when my rpms get up around shifting range. it goes off when the rpms drop. explanations?

could be one of a couple of things.
oil light indicator sensor is going out...
could have sludge/crap in sensor opening in block....
or worst case the sensor is correct and oil level is correct and pump is going out...or/and picup screen is sump is clogged/filled with sludge/crap.

put what vehicle/motor/miles etc in your sig.

Try replacing you oil filter.

sorry, its a 90 22re. i just replaced the oil filter (not fram). and it wasn't doing it today.
