Guess what....
The oil level was not fine. I checked it in the morning when I changed the tranny fluid. It was full. Then I drove 150 miles and the light flashed on when I got home. The next time I took it out, the light came on when I hit the brakes. I checked the oil = BONE DRY!!! It was dark, so I left the truck. Came back this morning with some oil. Checked the drain plug, oil filter, valve cover (the only things I've touched) and didn't see anything wrong. Topped her off and drove her home for further inspection.
When I got home and took the skidplate off, it looks like it all leaked out of the crankshaft front seal. When running, I couldn't see any oil coming out, but it looked like that was the source. But 3qts in 150 miles = helluva leak.
I don't think I did any permanent damage since the low pressure light only flashed 3 or 4 times and it's not making any funny noises. I'll fix that and go from there I guess.
