Oil Leaking from somewhere???????
Hey guys,
Ok so I just bought a new 89 4runner and it is leaking about a half a cup of oil a day, and it is leaking from somewhere in the rear of the engine and towards the top (I can see where its coming down the bellhousing. Now my hang up is it has a chevy 4.3 vortec swapped into it with a turbo 350 tranny, and I know very little about this engine! The oil isn't red, so I dont think its comin from the tranny, It doesnt smell like gear oil so I dont think there is anyway it could be coming from the front pumpkin, My engine oil and brake fluid dont seem to be going down, so I have know idea where this oil is coming from, does anyone have any place that would be good to start?????
My best guess is a brake line behind the engine has got a small leak?
