Oh No! My poor baby! Part Deux [2]

Many of you will remember my previous post with a similar title from early may 2007. Several of you, morbid b**tards that you are, asked for photos of the carnage. So here you go before and after pics...

Before

The above is what happens when you get hit at the rear corner by a jerk who fell asleep behind the wheel...

After

Thankfully I have really good insurance and had a very knowledgeable adjuster who knew what these trucks are really worth as opposed to what the book says they should be.
All work was accomplished by my mechanic and bodyman Shane at Toyworks in Orangeville Ont.
Hope you all enjoy the pics. more will follow as I complete the interior customization.

Thanks Chris. I was very happy to get her back. She now has a new box, doors, front fenders, and hood. Basically it's a new truck. INS. paid for the box/rear and I paid for the front end.
I'm thinking of putting some '97 LC alloy rims on her if I can find some at the right [cheap] price.

If you don't mind me asking, who is your insurance company? I have been "adjusted" out of thousands on other vehicles because the book vs. actual value issue.

Wow! Looks great. Your rig got a new lease on life! Did you use this second chance to rust proof the heck out of box so you don't get that wheel well rot down the road? You had a great insurance adjuster like you said!!

The ins. company is Economical Ins. I don't know if they are in the US or not.
Yeah she is getting rust proofed... Krown... the first truck was rust proofed when I got it [by me] but I think a lot of the damage was there before from the previous owner...
