oh golly..another idle problem:)
hey guys
alright.. i bet you cant guess what my 4runner is doing now.. its idleing way to friggen high! yeah cold start-up about 1500-1700rpm
once warmed up and in gear sh idles between 1000-1200rpm
91 4runner 3VZE this problem happened shortly well actually almost right after i blew a cooling line just near the throttle body.. now i only had some 3/8s line in the truck with me so its a little big and flimsy and is currently kinked.. burped system after replacing line but idle will not come down! i have had similar problems before after blowing cooling lines but all of them have corrected themselves.. so would anyone else as well think this is due to the kinked cooling line?

Hmmm......I'd say either the idle air valve in the bottom of the TB has frozen up, or you have a vacuum leak. I had a very high idle once on my 22re and it turned out that the cold start injector gasket was leaking.
Anyway, that's where I'd start. Not necessarily your injector, but a vac leak. Perhaps something has come undone or didn't get hooked back up.
