ODO/Trip meter quit working
1993 pickup DLX 4X4 5vz swap.
Was working up until a week ago and now all the sudden its not working. Can anyone point me in the correct direction of what would cause this?
I assume those components are not fused.
I also assume these are mechanical devices not electrical so it could be that they just retired or something....
Any leads/help would be awesome

Did you lose the speedometer (and cruise control) as well? Or just the ODO?
If you lost the speedo, I would suspect VSS1 first. I can't say which vehicles have the drive cable and which have the newer VSS1 electronic sensor, but my guess is a '93 w/4wd has the electronic sensor. It's plugged into the back of the transfer case on the passenger side; if it's a wire it's electronic, if a cable it may be mechanical.

I know what the vehicle speed sensor is. My truck is equipped with that. I had to provision wires for that when I did my swap.
Speedo and tach both work.
