Its a 1995 22re 4x4...between 2 and 3k rpms the truck will not accelerate, the truck falls completely on it's face and the rpms barely climb even at wide open throttle, once it gets relatively close to 3k it catches and pushes me back in the seat pretty hard.. but if you push the clutch in when its happening the engine revs normally, so it appears to be under load only. The fuel filter has about 15k on it, the cat about 11, plugs about 5, wires cap rotor about 25 and everything is toyota oe. I always use 89 octane from reputable stations like mobil. We've had quite a large range in temps lately, from 15 to 60, in the past couple weeks so I thought in mite be water moisture in the tank so I put a couple bottles of dry gas in... Pulling out of the station it was immediately fine, But it still has happened a few times...what do you think it could be? Fuel pump? Debris in the line? Ecu?

If you 'part-throttle' accelerate through those RPM's do you have the same problem?
Do you notice it in any particular gear more than another?
Hear any 'pinging' or detonation? (And personally, I don't consider Mobil 'reputable'.)

You added some alcohol to the fuel tank? How much? And was it all in one tank or spread across several tanks?

should add to my comment about Mobil gasoline- I've filled at one Mobil station and refilled at another and had better mileage (about 22 vs 15) from the first than the second.
At least at Arco / BP stations, I can expect consistant mileage (even if it is low) between stations.

It doesn't matter how much throttle, it accelerates/doesnt accelerate the same, does not matter what gear I'm in. It's the same gas statio I always go to and I added a couple containers (about a pint) to a half tank... Drove about 10 miles until today and filled it up at a different station... This just started yesterday so this is the first tank

okay...
have you pulled the plugs and checked them? ... and they're gapped properly?
Are all the spark plug wires and the primary coil wire routed clear of everything with at least 1/4" gap between the wires and 1/4" gap between any wire and anything 'grounded'?

Do you have any stored trouble codes in the ECU?

No codes....plugs look a-ok and routing of all wires is fine

That sounds eerily similar to an issue I had with a dodge ram about 8 years ago. Turned out to be a plugged cat. But you've replaced yours, so...

When did this start happening?

I'd still contemplate checking the TPS and AFM.
A clogged cat will usually choke out higher RPMS progressively.
