Not the TPS.... Maybe I'm missing something
Sooooo, when I plug my TPS in my idle bouces from like 800 to 1200 in a pace. like in 1 second ups and downs. Sounds like my engine is kinda studdering with it. I let off the acceleration and my truck jerks. Not 100% how to explain it but I dont like it. When i sit at idle it either bouces or drops to 400-500 even thoe i adjusted idle screw up. Its a brand new tps with a brand new MAF. any suggestions? thanks

Did you adjust the TPS as per FSM???

All was in spec exept for the infinity.... coulnt get that no matter how hard i tried, got it down to 60 ohms then it started going up agian, would an exhaust leak cause this/

Exhaust leak should not affect the actual adjustment of the TPS as that is done with the motor off. If you are not getting an infinity reading something is wrong.
Not trying to insult, but are you sure you used the correct terminals for your readings. If the TPS is facing you (connection point towards the front of the TB) IDL & E2 should be the bottom 2 terminals, if the TPS faces away from you (connection point towards the rear of the TB) IDL & E2 should be the top 2 terminals. Also if you have a throttle stop opener that needs to be disengaged or the throttle blade will not be fully closed. The dashpot can in some instances hold the TB blade open.

Still nothing tried nudging it and test driving it either I'm totally musing the sweet spot or I'm missing mind... if its to far one way it studders and to far another its crappy acceleration and the rpms insist at staying at 500

If your retarded count me in to cause I have the bounce thing also but mine is at like 1600 to 2000 RPMs. It idles and runs great but I don’t like the drivability in 1st or 2nd but I’m learning to deal with it. I tried most everything I could but no fix found. If ya do figure it out I would love to know WTF? it is!
Check my post:
“fuel cut RPM”? Motor Lopes @1600 to 2000
You might check the voltages at ECU just for the fun of it?

double check how you put the tps in the t/b, It will go in 2 ways, 1-it will just slide in like how it should fit but with no resistance from the butterfly so to speak, but i found on mine this was incorrect 2-open the t/b butterfly just a little and then put the tps in the t/b it will feel like it has a little resistance when you release the butterfly and this should be the correct way. Then reset your tps

Still onthing and my mileage is still crapy. Going to see if my friend can check it out when hes not too busy for me. Could it be caused from poor ignition? I.E. Coil / Igniter?

Idling up and down sounds much like mine was doing when TPS was out of whack and so, it would idle higher, thus, causing my fuel cut to continually engage while my foot was on the brake. I'm sure it might be nothing, maybe you've mentioned it...but could you entertain me, please?...
Start the truck and let it idle with the TPS plugged in, your foot off the brake, ....is it still doing it?
I would think if it's not doing it unless the TPS is plugged in....it's either put in improperly(the keeper pins that stick out of the TPS are overextended passed the actual Throttle side insert....Not sure if that's even possible...i've been told it is, lol) ORRRRR, it's set beyond it's limit on the IDL-E2 and it's continuously trying to compensate for whatever you have it set at. Definitely should be EFI related, since you're changing closed loop by disconnecting it...and then it's fine.
Hmmmmm
PS> Doubtful it's the Coil or Igniter. Still think something in your fuel cut is freaking out. Are you SUREEEEEEEE that your brake pedal signal is not engaging, even when your foot is off the brake? I've heard of this happening.... That would cause the fuel cut to freak out if it's idling over 1000...IT WILL cut the injectors, over and over, until you set it back below 1000rpm.
PSS> My truck was doing something similar, where it was very hard to get the RPM to stay in a particular spot...and when I got it below 1000 and steady....eventually, when warming up, it would want to drop to 500 or so and felt like it was TOTALLY missing and dying. My issue was largely the CAM....and replacing it solved MUCH of my idle down stuff. Your issue sounds MUCH more like EFI hiccups.
