Not getting power at the TPS

Truck is running really rough and doesn't want to idle. It is throwing a check engine light for TPS sensor short or break I adjusted the TPS then replaced it. None of that worked so I took it to a buddy's shop and he said it is not getting power. We aren't good with wiring and I don't want to take it to an electrical shop if I can avoid it.

Can anyone give me some Ideas on this issue? Anyone had the same issue? Truck is a 92 3vze. Just swapped in a motor from an auto 4runner 3vze. It didn't run before because the guy over heated the motor.

Thanks
Kyle
