i have a 86 pickup 22re.when i got this truck it needed tranny bearings and syncros because you can hear friction clear as day and a hard clunk noise when you left off the clutch. since its been replaced everything is fine. theres still a noise. i thinks normal but idk what it is. im going on a on ramp to a freeway and im in 3rd till i hit the top of the on ramp and i shift to 4th, i let go of the clutch and hit the gas i hear a single cling noise comming from underneath the truck around the drive shaft area . i was woundering what it is and if anyone has heard it in there truck before? my tranny has been tore down and put back together, ive had my rear end flushed and resealed and i checked my drive shaft and joints. everything is fine and it runs good. just thought ask for future reference.

the noise dosent happen all the time. mainly up hills and depending on how fast i let go the clutch.
