NO SPARK AFTER H/G REPAIR... haven't heard this one have you?
1990 3.0 v6 with new h/g job. When i bought it(blown h/g), i tried starting it to listen to bottom end... no spark. I tried moving the vehicle onto the trailer the next day with the starter, and it started?!?NOTE: I did search and search the forums. The ignition coil primary resistance is .6 when for a 1990 it is supposed to be .4-.5(note: it was 30ish degrees out). I keep seeing people talking about a 4 prong plug to check the pickup coil in the distributor.... i have something like that, but it's in a line, not a square arrangement. Also, how do i test the igniter?...?!?!?!??!?!?!?!?!? thank you.
