No Lift 33" on my 91
#3
their 15x8, i got the tires which are bfg mud terrains 33x12.50 for 100 bucks with about 90% tread from a buddy and bought the rims new, their just cheapie rock crawlers, i didnt even plan on putting them on until i got my straight axle in (in the process of aquiring all the parts) but somebody apperently thought all four of my tires was a good place to put their knife so here it is.

Looks Good, did it yourself?
I have wondered if my 2" lift shackles would help my saggy butt, your truck looks nice with them. Was it hard to replace your old shackles? Were the old ones tough to get out? The bushing requires that you take the leaves off and put them in a press to get them out or did you choose to burn them out? How did you do your shackle job?
If you're running no lift on 33x12.5's you may wanna trim like Brian894x4.com did to his 3rd gen, see

putting the shackles on took all of about a half an hour and and that the bushings just slid out fairly easy, i should have replaced them with new one but i just gobbed some grease on em and called it done, can't beat it for $35

no you shouldn't have, trust me, it's a hell of a job. if they're not cracked and rotten just leave them alone - thank me later

i would say yes if they come with some rims but if not negotiate for like $250, he cant say no with cash in his face. And as for the birfs and rubbing, i honestly wouldnt hesitate to put em on, unless you have a spool up front or its welded but like i said thats my opinion. Or like you said you could wait and get your lift on, that would be fine too!
