If it's free pick it up and then take your time looking for the right motor. If it's a used 3.0 I'd be weary of the head gaskets being blown.

Yeah, $700 is low, but if it's junk it's junk. That may explain the price. Then again, it may be fine. Just find out all you can about it before you buy. If there's too many grey areas or not enough verifiable info about it, keep looking...since you're taking your time. I've been taken by so called upright individuals with one motor already myself. Paid twice what I wanted to for a rebuilt 3.0 because I had to rebuild it again. Still came out less than putting in a 3.4, though. Didn't have that much.

cant beat free and $700 for a 3.0L is a little high if its used

do you guys have any suggestions of a place to find a motor in Colorado, the motor i found was at a place called the Yota Yard buddy of mine bought his 22r there. Thanks again for all the feedback, hopefully you guys will see a builup shortly!
