Isn't that the truth!!! Just remember to keep the garage door open when you do it so the neighbors can hear you.

CTIV's eh. I had those way back when. Blew through two pair. Way too bulky for me now.

As far as the breaks, good luck and enjoy that stopping power.

P.S. I pegged my spedo on 50 next to Costco. It was gnarly.

Guranteed that garage door will be open with this heat. Gotta try to get some draft going. I was dripping today while just unbolting the fan shroud...

I hear ya. I'm in Lake County, actually, and it was about 104ish today. No garage for me, just the driveway. I had to wash my baby. But those brakes should keep shoes out of trouble. Well at least as far as his stopping needs are concerned.

Close to my Dad's detailing business, and probably dangerously close to American River College. His business is near Auburn and Madison(actually near orange grove) I don't actually live in Sacramento, but I am over there every week. I am very familiar with the area since my dad owns a business, and I used to live in North Highlands about 12 years ago. Now I call Lake County home, but Sac will always be special(with the exception of North Highlands). You guys have street trucks, or 4X4's?

Thanks. My rig is actually nothing special, but it gets me from A to B and doesn't look THAT bad, and it sounds pretty good, too. Definitly a capable off road machine, for being mostly stock. Overall, I'm happy with it.

Yeah, Mad/Aub is near. Maybe 1.5 miles. I drive a 4X4, when she's clean, she is very clean. But right now it's pretty dirty (Tore up the farm roads behind Lincoln) and the transmission is about to come out so I can put in the new clutch. Right now this how she looks:

You can barely see my Dad's 82. If you want to see a clean truck, that is it. and 82 with 63K on it. I've only seen maybe 4 others like it, ever...

But she normally looks like:

Maybe this fall sometime. I need to detail it. She's getting pretty dirty from all the dusting(can't go mudding or really wheeling in summertime, it's all dust) I've done this summer. My unfortunate lack of A/C I'm sure didn't help keep the dust out of the cab(esp. cause I had the windows down, and I was behind someone). And that's also why I'm not really into driving to Sac in my 4Runner in this heat(because of the A/C, not the dust) I'll let ya know what'll work later on(probably October-ish) How low has Folsom Lake gotten?

Haha, same story hear. My AC went out at the beginning of summer, but luckily most of my time was spent in Truckee. But windows were always down, and I was usually in back. I routinely wiped down the dash beacuse after a while, you could swipe it with your finger and come up with a thick layer of dirt...

And Folsom is damn low... Tons of beach to drive on.
