Looking for a new radiator. Mine had over 210,000 miles on it and the bracket is busted off. When it busted off it broke clean. Didnt damage the radiator. Thought about brazing the bracket back on and having the local radiator shop go through it but wondering if doing that will cost more then ordering a new. Havent called them yet. plan to do that tomorrow.
If anyone knows of a good place to pick up a new radiator please let me know. Its one of the few pieces I need that is keep my truck parked and not on trails.

I'd just replace the radiator. With that mileage, who knows what else problems may be going on inside.. And though fixing the bracket may cheaper than buying a new one, there isn't much more reassurance than just forking out the cash for a new one.. You know what I mean?

I havent bought one from these guys but do hear good comments about them. http://radiatorbarn.com/ Seems for just a little more then what it cost to get one repaired it is better off to go get one from them. I have a radiator repair shop in my area that charges $25 for repair and pressure cleaning. These radiators are full of rust and build up.

you can easily braze the brackets back on as a temp fix while saving up for a good unit. Plastic/aluminum ones are cheaper and most likely won't last as long as yours did. You can order a copper/brass and have it last just as long.

My radiator was totally trashed and required a rebuild that would have cost almost $300 by my local shop so I decided to buy one from www.radiatorbarn.com and I couldn't be happier!

I paid $238.26 shipped (got here in 3 days)! It was a well built direct replacement that has worked flawlessly since mid-october (when I put it in)! I would recommend them to ANYONE!

It was made out of copper & brass and NOT the plastic & aluminum that you can get at the parts store (which fail quickly anyway). They have a "limited-lifetime" warranty that they personally manage so that you don't have to contact the manufacture of the radiator if it goes bad. The only things they don't cover are installation errors/stupid people.

If you plan on buying a new radiator, my recommendation will have to be Radiator Barn!

I don`t even buy local anymore because they all tell me all I can get is the plastic aluminum ones.

I have bought a few now from Radiator Barn for me fleet of Toyota vehicles. and could not be happier.

I say get yours flushed and pressure-tested at least before you decide to get a new one. If you can get it repaired for cheap and is still good, why spend the money to buy something you don't need?

Plus, repairing something to keep using it is the best form of recycling there is. Less of a carbon footprint as well, if that matters to you at all.

Checked www.radiatorbarn.com today. The price is $208, that includes shipping. Didnt call the radiator shop today. Will try and do it tomorrow, but gotta work out after work then I will call, unless I get hit for a double. I would do a double if we were getting paid OT but our Warden put out saying that we can only do doubles for comp time till further notice. Dam goverment debit!! haha I know if I could get 2 paid OT days I could get the radiator and also get new brake pads and few other things
