I have a 1995 pickup 4cyl std.

I'm thinking of new plugs, wires, dis cap etc...

What would you guys recommend for wires and plugs etc... Stock stuff aftermarket? Anything else like sensors etc...

When dealing with plugs and wires everyone will have there own opinion. Everyone's vehicle will react differently to these things all depending on what's done to your engine. If your bone stock I'd suggest OEM equipment.
My truck has mild engine work done and it hates split fire plugs. So I do suggest staying away from those. There hard on pistons too.

Popular opinion is going to say OEM/Denso. I'll say anything walmart doesn't sell (and that puts me at my daily quota for autolite whining)

When I did my rebuild I went aftermarket. I had an issue with one wire so just bought an OEM set. Couldn't be happier. The price is a little higher but when you buy a toyota set from the dealer they come with all the little retaining clips that are probably broken on most trucks. Was a nice surprise anyways. I say OEM.

Just another note. I'd suggest OEM on oil filters to. 22 series engines don't agree with gram and junk like that lol. I have ran K&N as well as WIX but I'd choose OEM filters over any of them.

And like said earlier stay away from Walmart.

Nothing Bosch, especially for 02 sensors. Toyota OEM is the way to go for all electrical components.

i went OEM with wires,cap,rotor, and the upgraded iridium toyota plugs. IF your thinking of O2 sensors and want to go aftermarket get the toyota number from dealer and ask for the DENSO crossover. SAME SENSOR.....

I just ordered the LC Engineering tune up kit for me engine rebuild. it actually came out cheaper then if I were to get the crappy oreilly or autozone ones. Anyone know what kind LC sells?

NGK plugs and wires , oem uses NGK and denso for plugs , not the fancy ones , the sub $2.00 plugs are all you need

I went with OEM Denso plugs. You can find them on Amazon. I did that based on reading many posts here and Toyotanation...check the sticky for everything you'd want to know about owning a Toyota pickup --> http://www.toyotanation.com/forum/80...e-posting.html

I found Denso plug wires at Advanceauto.com. The seem to be identical to the Yakazi wires that were on my truck, except the nifty clips didn't come with the Denso replacements. And they're not numbered like the Yakazis. Best part, they were about $35, versus what the Toyota dealer charges, which could be anywhere from $65 to over $100 from what I've seen.
