I call it the Free-Floating-Rear-End, here is the story behind it.
So I was on my way home today from the feed mill, had to get some grain for the horses, when all of a sudden I hear a clunk----clunk----clunk coming from the rear end. I half expected to see my exhaust fallen off the wire hanger the PO rigged up. Lo and behold my, I look and do not see anything, so I continue home the 4Runner bobbing up and down and I start thinking, ☺☺☺☺ my shocks musta went to crap. I run down to the local garage where a buddy of mine works and we get under it and start looking, rear shocks are in good shape....Looks like the shock mounts rusted through, so much for being a good condition Michigan 4Runner =D.
Oh well, this is a winter vehicle anyway, and it only has to get me up to work twice this summer.

Thanks for noticing that Paul, I changed it now, not sure what I was thinking
And thank 91TPU, I was not aware one could order replacement shock mounts.
