Anyone know of a place to purchase a new fuse panel? Other than the dealer. My interior fuse panel on my 89 pickup is getting a little worn out. Internals sometimes loose connection with the fuse. Searching the old Internet for fuse anything brings up diagram questions.

J/B 1 contains a lot more than fuse holders, so I would be clearly amazed if there was an aftermarket version. Plus, the block assy is different depending on your options (cruise, power windows, etc.) If replacing it is what you want, I'd just suck it up and buy one. Considering what you get, it's not that expensive.

Or, if you're really good at harness construction, you could take yours apart and crimp in new fuse connectors. This won't be easy because there isn't an excess of wire in there; but it could probably be done.

The factory one is that just the plastic part and the internal parts come separate ??

is it pre wired that it just plugs in??

Get one of the after market ones and build what you need.

I find fuse connections can be tighten by bending the blades on the block side

After all these years things get loose.

That's what I was looking for. I'm sure the dealer would be a lot more expensive, and I prefer to shop around before dropping over 100 bucks.

I've tried the bending. It works for a little while, then it gets loose again. Not good when your tail light relay comes loose and people can't see your brake light.

toyotapartsoverstock IS a dealer in Florida. Yes, they are much cheaper than just walking in the door of your local brick-and-mortar with no idea what you want.

I've had good luck with them.

Yes indeed if your tail light relay causes your brake lights to not work I can understand you have major Electrical problems!!

Seeing how in normally wired trucks the tail light relay is not connected to the brake light circuit .
