New Front Bumper on - Courtesy of Addicted Offroad

Much thanks to Scotty at Addicted for the new front end. She's finally drivable after the accident. Gonna cut the Indicator mounting tabs off of the old bumper tho and tack them onto this one for better mounting of the Indicators. Just cable tied the suckers on so I could finally taker her for a spin.

Headlight also still needs adjusted it seems lookin at the pics.

And that is why! lol

The pictures were to damn big to post, hence the links. Uploading to Photobucket now so it resizes. Not that I'm calling you a dumbass or anything for your dumb response!

looks good with the exception of the zip ties. Looks like you need a couple of more bolts and don't drive off with that socket left on the DS bolt.

IMO Scuba's right about picture links...we are all lazy here and hate clicking more that we have to

Looks good!
Something I like about the addicted bumper is that you can run the turn signals parallel to the ground like the one on their website.

My Marlin bumper came with the tabs in the same place as your temporary location which I personally didn't care for. Taking a second look now though, I might have been able to place them similar to the Addicted setup, but I didn't think of it. I ended up doing the corner light/turn signal mod, so no signals on the bumper anywhere.

Too funny - Drove about 3 miles with that Socket on there, didn't even notice. Thank you

And yes - it does really need those 2 extra bolts, I need to find out the size as those weren't used on the OEM Bumper and the OEM Bumper bolts don't fit.

it should be ok w/o those two out side bolts unless you use it as a recovery point..just have seen people get that "oh crap" look when their stuff gets bent

Well the intention is to mount a winch eventually, so I'll definitely be adding the 2 extra mounting bolts. Anyone know the size offhand?

I should, as I went through the same thing not too long ago, but I don't remember and can't seem to find the info anywhere in my piles of papers laying around. I do have bagsful of extra nuts/bolts/hardware laying around and I'm sure a couple of the bolts supplied by Marlin for mine are in there if you're interested.

Also, if you want to try it out, I think the thread is the same as the bolts for the t case crossmember. You could pull one of those to verify fitment and if it works, that part # is 90105-12016 at Toyota for approx $1 each. Good luck.

On my sons truck, with the same bumper, we drilled two holes through the core support, right under the headlights- rerouted the wires, and used industrial velcro to mount the turn signals to the underside of the grill. Up and protected.

If you are going to use a winch you might want to get the reinforcing plate from Front Range Offroad. The plate adds stiffness and 4 more bolt holes. The mounting location on these trucks in a little thin.

Here is the 4x4wire link to the turn signal mod that anyone can do to move them up into your parking lights
http://www.4x4wire.com/toyota/tech/tacoma_turn_signal/

Also, on a side note. I just went up to meet with Brian at Front Range Offroad on Wednesday. I will soon be stocking and offering his frame reinforcement kit with all of my bumpers as an optional add on. It will ship with the bumper as well to cut down on the shipping costs when ordered with a bumper. We needed to make some adjustments to the piece to line it all up correctly, so once those are made I will be adding them to the website.
