New Brake Line, Too tight of Clearance?

Hey guys,

I was changing out my brake pads, and snapped off one of the metal brake lines. So, going to autozone, they were able to get me a straight one with the correct flares and fittings, so I had to bend it myself.

I wasn't quite comfortable bending it to the extreme dimensions that my stock brake line was bent to, so I went for easier angles. My question though, is do you think there will be an issue with the bends i made?

BTW, it's the right side that broke. The tightest clearance is halfway to left steering lock, between the bend and the shock, as shown here:

And the other tight clearance, is between my sway bar and the brake line, at full right steering lock:

Will either of these components move and possibly bend my brake line? I don't like messing around when it comes to my stopping power.

Thanks in advance,

NaeSLaS

Easy way to compress the suspension to check? Do i have to disconnect the T-bars to get full compression?

I would have bought one of these. It's only $5.00.

My Dealer wanted $90 for a set of those lines....but they included the flexible lines also. Thats the only way they said they come.

Also, time is a factor. I'd love to order a kit from MC, but I needed to drive my truck yesterday. It's my only ride!

Maybe a weekend trip to upgrade my lines to stainless all throughout, and change out my ghetto-fab line for a MC-formed real one.

Bottom of the page on the left,

Just make sure you are ordering the correct one.
I'll be spending alot of money on marlin's site in the coming months (that's if work picks up).
