just got a 86 4 runnr efi yesterday. runs alright. idles goofy though. idles between 1200 and 1500 rpms the idle screw is all the way closed. sometimes it will be idling at 1500 and drop to 1k then come right back up and do that a few times.. i noticed when i was dicking with it that the hose below the idle screw is plugged off and whatever it is that its supposed to go to is just open and exposed. what is that? im sure i need it but when i hook it up it runs like dick.. idles terrible and only smooths out at about 2 grand. so i kept it unhooked and plugged off... i moved the distributor all the way to the right and the idle went down but it was absolutely nut-less. when i do that i am advancing and retarding the timing correct? any input is more than appreciated
