Need Torsion bar Help!
I have my bar loose on both ends on passenger side but I cant find enough room to slide it out. Whats the trick??? I already dismantled part of the emergency break but the gas tank seems to be in the way??? HELP!

I remember having a heck of a time replacing my t-bars, it was a real battle. My shoulder was hurting for a month after that. Can't remember exactly but seems like I had to almost bend the t-bars to get clearance around something. It probably helps if you have a body lift, I do now but I didn't then.

Oh... you're suppost to slide them out the front fender? That must have been my problem, I was sliding them out the back towards the rear wheels.

I'm at a loss since I'm not near my truck but I've swaped t-bars probably 10times and never had an issue. Always pulled them out the back, never the front. Usally my problem is the rear anchor will not clear the frame mount, so I have to cycle the front suspension up some to rotate the t-bar.--This doesn't sound like your issue though.

Gas tank is NEVER in the way. I think usally I slide it up and back just a bit and then pull it sideways towards the center(tranny). Then it just falls out and slides along the crossmember.
