You'll be just fine, the motors are exactly the same. Just swap the motors, and use the same harness.

So you say it should go right in with no prob ?
I thought of using the 5spd tranny...but that would be to much work to change everything over with the little time I have to get tis done. Thanks for your repls guys.. |

I am by no means an expert, but if you start thinking of swapping trannies I believe you will start running into some sensor, wiring, ECM issues.
Basically, you have to keep the ECM, sensors and wires with the tranny they currently exist with. So, if you put the 3.0 5SPD in the truck you want to drive, be prepared to do more than just bolt it right in.
