Need rust help with my 4runner
He everybody My name is Zac I am a new member to this wonderful forum. I live in Southern Illinois where rust is a everyday occurance. I am fairly compentant when it comes to painting and the like, but I am not the best metal worker in the world and I am looking for replacement panels for my 4runner it is a 95 with the cab corners by the rear doors rusting out and above the rear fender wells as well as the rear of the body tub under were the rear bumperette would attach. Does anyone now of were one could find weld in replacement panels for these places or am I just going to have to try my hand at a little metal forming. Thanks for any info or advice all you great Toyota Gods may have.

I bought a set of the rear quarter patch panels off Corey last year. They fit perfectly. And he's a good guy to deal with.
I also have a pair of his front fenders, but he's pulled them from the market for the time being.

lmao, just kiddn' bro
Welcome to YT
fiber-fender's are always a good way to go; keeps that rust from coming back
I guess another option would be locating some in-good-shape fenders in a scrap yard that you could sawzall out what you need, but good luck with that
checked on-line for replacement fenders yet?

I could not afford the fiber glass panels when I fixed up my 4runner I used aluminum screen and bondo to form up my patches the next time I would use the high end bondo instead of the cheapo low grade body filler.
if you go the screen route make sure to double up the screen this way if you sand it down too much you still have another layer of screen holding the bondo, that and it makes a better surface with 2 layers of screen for the bondo to mesh with.
also make sure to cut out all of the rusted steel before doing any body filler
