Need links for panel removal

I'm not having much luck with the search engine finding info on removing the AC slider panel removal. '93 Truck with AC.
I need to know how to remove the flat knobs off of the levers?
How to remove the plastic panel after the knobs are off?
Thank you.

The knobs pull straight off; friction fit.

The panel is a click-fit, so just get a tool in one of the slots and pull carefully.

With all things rubber and plastic, they get brittle with age. Warming things up GREATLY reduces your risk of an accident. Wait for a warm day, use a hair dryer, or a heat gun (a heat gun can melt stuff; put your hand on the part you're warming. If too hot for your fingers, back off).

Always a good idea to mist older plastic bits with armor-all before prying. Kinda like penetrating oil for old bolts. Little extra lube goes a long way...

Thank you for the info. I'll warm it up and give it a try.

Everything came off without too much trouble. I warmed the panel with a heat gun and all but the dead center,at 6 o'clock latch came right out. That last one kicked my butt for 20 minutes until I could free it and not brake it off.
I have other questions I will post in topics.
Thanks again.
