Need to know where ADD sensor connects under hood ASAP
I've had the end that does not connect to the front differential ziptied to my skid plate for a while now. Finally have some motivation to fix it.
Basically looking for someone to explain where the other end goes under the hood , or if that's even where it goes. 1994 4runner 5 speed 3.0
Thanks in advance!!!!

So far I have not came up with a relevent search from YT , google, or my chilton or haynes manuals. I've been searching under the hood for about an hour and a half and it's bugging me.

Thanks for the help. I found it after I took off the skid plate. The other plug was hiding back behind the alternator and stuck back there a little bit. At first glance it looked like just another couple wires, but it was the connector I was looking for. So now when I engage 4wd, the light turns on and it works properly. I should've clarified that I was looking for the plug in rather than the final destination of it. I was extremely frustrated at the time.
I cannot stand having something and not knowing where it goes. OCD I guess.

Best advice i can give you. Get manual hubs, and get rid of the add system. It has caused me nothing but trouble. My buddy and i both had similar problems with the add within 10 minutes of eachother.

Problem wasnt with unlocking, it wouldnt lock. I dont remember what was wrong with his, but my actuator was stuck.
Unless you mixed up the vac lines, it seems to me that your actuator is just stuck. You can pull of the add cover and manually free it up, or just drop a few bucks on a set of manual hubs at the wrecking yard.
(sorry for the bad description, i dont know what all that junk is called, but it gives you an idea.) Search around and you can find pictures of what you will be dealing with.
