Need help wiring!

K, so heres what i'm doing. I got a 1991 Xcab from a junkyard, and it is now on my 1984 xcab frame. The ignition key switch was torn out, So i want to put in a on/off switch and a push button start i need help with the wiring. Any and all help is helpful, wiring diagrams, etc. I have a small block chevy 350 and the starter is a one wire hook up just like the stock toyota, Also has a one wire hook up on the H.E.I distibutor.

assuming you still have the harness in the truck, find the hot wire that feeds the ignition switch. Should be a fat one. Extend or run this wire to your new on/off switch. Run new wire (14 gauge) from on/off to hei and one (12 gauge) to push button switch feed. run wire (12 gauge) from push button to starter "s" terminal on solenoid. Really very simple. Remember to solder and shrink tube the connectors on so you don't have intermittant open circuits later.
