need help with clunk!
I have a 93 toyota 4runner, when ever I am turning and I hit ab ump does not matter if it is small or big, I here a lond clunk on the drivers side, somtimes it fells like it is close to my feet, I was thinking it is either BJ's or bad shocks, possibly some kind of steering link in front, because it only happens when i am turning, it does not matter the speed either, but it is a little more noticable a slower speeds like when pulling out of parking lot, Any ideas would help thank you.

sway bar or control arm bushings, possibly a shock bushing
could be tie-rod end or ball joint remote case it could be a brake caliper is loose.

get the front end up in the air safely and start checking things out. turn the wheel and look for things moving that shouldnt. abe gave you a pretty good starting point, have at it!
let us know what you discover. lee

clunk
thanks guys for all the help, I never thought of the bump stops evrn though they are to close to hitting all the time, If I keep hitting the bump stops does this mean my shocks are bad or maybe my TB need to be turned a little.

It could also be the inner joint of your cv shaft. They clunk instead of clicking like the outer joint of the shaft

I am almost positive it is not the cv shaft because I have manual hubs and the cv shaft never spins
