What is the purpose of the truck? Trail / daily or dedicated trail? The price of the rough country isn't bad, I don't like Sky Jacker for no other reason than I just don't. I have zero experience with Pro Comp.

If you're on a budget the Rough Country lift is a great lift, If you can afford it do an SAS.

Under a grand I'd go with the Rough Country, if the truck is a 22re I'd invest some money in a gear upgrade (4.88's) from Marlin Crawler. The gears and suspension would be under 1k and you will be doing yourself a favor. This is not taking into consideration shipping.

I believe the 4Cyl. came with 29 inch tires and 4.10's (I may be wrong) so to keep it as close to stock ratio as possible I would recomend at least 4.56's but 4.88's would be better. It really depends on the use, If your not worried about fuel mileage at all and plan to do some sort of crawling go with 5.29's (this will also allow you to run 35-36's pretty comfortably if you decide to later).

According tot he calc. In 5th gear with 33's and 4.88's you would be running about 2385 RPM at 60 MPH and 2981 RPM at 60 MPH.
