Need advice on 3" Suspension Lift for '95 Toyota Surf
Please someone advice the best 3" Suspension Lift Kit out there for my 1995 Toyota Surf SSR-X 3.0 Ltd. Edition (4Runner 1KZ-TE) with 32x11.5x15 BFG T/A -KO's on AR-Teflon Thug Rims. What is available out there? I live in Central Africa and can get anything shipped out here DHL or FedX'd.

Ok, it looks like you have the same suspension as a US 4runner of that year.
Basically IFS lifts come in two sizes, 1.5-2" and 4". The 1.5-2" (spacers) can be added to a 4" (bracket) lift. What kind of wheeling are you looking to do? The 4" bracket lifts have durability issues that the shorter lifts do not. The long travel kits like Total Chaos are great if you need the travel and have the dough. They are spendy. Many people swap out their IFS for a solid axle but that option would again depend on the severity and type of off-roading you plan to do.
You can put 33X10.5's on there stock so you don't need much lift to fit the wider 33" tire.
I would say search a bit too. There are many benefits and drawbacks to the different lift types.

Out of the box I want to say one of the better 4" bracket lifts is the Procomp Stage 2 kit simply because it has the re-enforcement arms for the drop brackets but it's also a few hundred bucks more than just about all of the others. Second choice for me was either a Rough Country or Superlift kit. They are exactly the same just the Superlift has nicer coatings and costs $300 more than the Rough Country.
I have a Superlift on my truck because I ordered a Rough Country and they were out so they sent me a Superlift or else I would be happy with the RC. Keep in mind though that the bracket lifts weaken the front suspension and in my opinion they aren't suited for heavy offroading anymore ( like rocks) after you install one. However, for the mostly street riding I do with some occasional mudding, hills and trails it's perfect. You just have to be careful with it.
Lots of info on here about them if you search.
