If you are used to pirate do some searching, I specifically remember reading about using several Chevy alts and which ones were the best to use, not to mention an alt from a Toyota Supra. Pirate has a lot of info on using damn near any part off a Chevy on a Toyota. If you are going to be sarcastic and call people worthless on this board, I'd reccomend using a smiley so people know you are kidding, it is very hard to pick up on sarcasm on the internet at times My bad it is actually an MR2 alternator http://www.rocketcityrockcrawlers.co...%20Project.pdf

Also a little chevy info for you too. I found this on Pirate.

PM Aaron. From reading his postings and looking at his product, it looks like he knows his stuff in regards to GM alternators on Toys. I'll be ordering the mount from him soon. Here is the link to his posting

I run a AC Delco on everything soon as the original goes out.. 1 wire from the stud on the back of the alternator to the positive post on the battery,.. only trick is to remember to snort it a few times to kick the alternator in or you can run a wire to the switch wire and tickle the exciter to kick her in...
