My very own time machine

When I bought the Yota, it came with a big manilla folder full of reciepts dating back to 1986...I never actually sat down and went through the folder until right now..Found the original window sticker and everything, pretty crazy for as old as it is.

Found out the clutch has been replaced twice, a battery has "blown up", ac has been charged about 6 times, valves adjusted twice, headgasket done once..etc..Bottom half of the engine has apparently never been touched...

Unless I'm missing something, according to a reciept dated 1998, it had 206,060 miles on it then...It now how has 223,xxx miles on it. So in the last 10 years it hasn't even had 20k miles put on it...Crazy.

How much was it bought for? That is really interesting to hear. My brother had a 90 Accord that was like $17k in 1990! Crazy. lol

Isn't it fun to look through that stuff? This '88 4runner I just bought has receipts for everything as well. The window sticker isn't in there, but it has the sales receipt! The receipts mainly consist of oil changes and routine maintenance, but there are some from larger jobs.
