Thumbs up My first 22RE swap (pics/vid)

Finally got around to installing a new long-block in my truck, the old run was still running pretty good for 263819 original miles but I decided she was due.

Here are some pics.

New long-block from Sunwest Automotive

Just pulled my motor yesterday after it has been sitting for a few months and have been thinking of getting the longblock from sunwest as they seem to have a good reputation on here. Just wondering what your thoughts were on the build quality or if you have had any issues with the motor. How much did it cost with shipping? Man it sure looks pretty and it is getting me fired up to get her back on and off the road.

I ordered the "supreme 22re for offroad tucks" that has the new head casting and rv cam, it was $1900 total including the core charge & shipping to Southern California. I've only run it for about 100 miles and so far i'm impressed, good quality motor (:

75psi oil pressure cruising and 25-30 idle

Hows the motor doing now? Did sunwest do the fuel injectors also, or did you have someone else do that?
