My 88 4runner needs parts.

I just bought my 1988 Toyota 4runner and I love it and want to kind restore it and make it original. But it needs alot of cosmetic, and interior parts that I have had a hard time to come across. Please reply to post or Message me for any offers of parts. Heres my list of parts.
Parts:
-Rear Mud Flaps
-Front motor Skid plate
-Lower front valance
-Windshield wiper bolt cover
-Center console door
-Drivers side power window switch cluster
-Rear wheel center cap
-Sunroof glass(or whole new sunroof)
-Drivers and passenger side window visors(Short chrome ones)

I would really apperecitate it thanks.

If you have any wrecking yards near you, or a pic n pull , thats were you need to start looking. Ive managed to find all the parts that i have needed to put my 86 4Runner back together, but it takes alot of looking to find stuff. I go to pic n pull just about every weekend and sometimes i find things im looking for and sometimes i find nothing, but its something that i enjoy doing. You might also try doing a google search for some of the things you need and something to remember is that you 4Runner uses the same parts as 4x4 trucks, so alot of things are interchangable.

I've had good luck posting on forums like this and 4x4wire.com and MarlinCrawler in the parts wanted section. It also helps to look at the parts for sale forums to find people who are parting out. Congratulations on your new 4runner. I just bought a 1989 4runner myself and I will be looking to do a lot of restoration and upgrades too. -- Matt

Yes, its true that 4Runners are hard to find, i have the same problem here in california, you just have to keep looking. like i said above, 4x4 trucks use most of the same parts that 4Runners use, just keep looking. Ive been working on my 86 4Runner for six months and ive got alot of the parts i needed from 84-88 trucks, and in that time ive only come across about five 84-88 4Runners and around here you have to get to them quick or there picked clean. Don`t give up, you just got your 4Runner so give it some time and it will start comming together the way you want it to.

How lucky you are...and you don't even know it...

Hollands Automotive and Salvage is "Toyota 4x4 Only".
Just go 401 north and it's on the right just before Fuquay-Varina...75 Ballard Road. 919.552.0291, ask for John. He's a super nice guy and the prices have always been very reasonable.
They probably have 50+ trucks and some 4runners/Landcruisers spanning all generations. It's well worth the trip to just walk around and take in the sights.

I'm in Raleigh...actually Fuquay, but easier to just say Raleigh. Pm me if you have any questions or need any help. I'm finishing up with bringing my '86 back to factory.

Good news peeps i did manage to find 3 things of my parts list. I found some rear mud flaps, skid plate, and a window switch. So i just need a bit more to go and i am also adding another thing too that i want to really make my 4runner like all the cool kids.
Parts list:
-The inclinometer from an 86-87 4runner.(The middle gages on the dash that read elevation and stuff)
-Lower front valance
-Windshield wiper bolt cover
-Center console door
-Rear wheel center cap
-Sunroof glass(or whole new sunroof)
-Drivers and passenger side window visors(Short chrome ones)
