my 4runners on tilt!
my question concerns my 92 4runner i bought it a couple months ago and i dont know if its lifted or not but when iam standing behind the vehicle or in front of it the rig leans hard to the driver side! its drivin me nuts cuz i dont even know where to begin to try to fix this problem. if anybody can help by tellin me if they know why it is like that and how i can fix it it would be much appreciated! thanks in advanced

Measure from the top of the rim to the bottom of the fender on all four fenders. Let us know what the measurements are for each one. This might make it easier for us to figure out what may be causing the tilt.

yup... measure the 4 corners like junker said...
then we can figure out if the driver's front is low (weak / bad torsion bar on that side), or the passenger front is high (weak / bad coil on the driver's rear) or the frame is bent...

thanks fellas for responding sorry i havent been able toreport back faster! Anyway the measurments on the driver side are 14 inches and on the passenger side its at 15 1/2 inches. how bad is it? thanks again

shocks have nothing to do with ride height, unless otherwise noted.
but yeah check the t-bars and make sure all the a-arms are straight and everything is okay in the front.
was the previous owner heavy set, maybe?

check for what exactly? everything i seen looks normal. it did look like underneath the coil spring on the pass.side it had a plate/spacer and the driver side did not have that.that was all i saw but the whole side is off a inch and half from the pass.side

oh. the WHOLE driver's side is leaning? And you say there seems to be a spacer on the passenger's side?..I bet thats what it is. I bet the previous owner put in a spacer to counteract the rear sagging and the passenger's side droop due to the fuel tank. Either take the spacer out or put one in on the driver's side that complements the other.
