hey guys I was wondering if you could help me out a little I want to buy a flowmaster 50 series muffler and a high flow cat and then have my local shop custom bend the piping my question is this: what inlet/outlet sizes do i need to get for the muffler and the converter what is stock and would going bigger or smaller be better why or why not

2.25" a safe size to go to for the 22re and the v6. I wouldn't go any larger than that.

I believe the 22re comes with 1 7/8" tubing from the factory and the v6 comes with 2". You definitely don't want to go smaller.

which engine do you have?

22re or 3vze.

What kind of driving do you do? Do you like to rev your engine really high and use the top end power, or do you stay under say 3500rpm most often?

2.25" for a 22re, I would not go bigger then that for a 4cyl.

2.25-2.5" for a 3vze, but I would recomend staying around 2.25" or you're liable to lose your low end grunt.
