Mounting truck tool box
I got a truck tool box for pretty cheap and I am tired of people stealing crap out of my bed. So, how exactly do you mount it to the bed? I was thinking of a hook with a threaded rod and you tighten the nut to clamp the box to the bed. And I don't want to drill holes in my bed either!
Like the hooks on the right with the nuts and washers. So, I drill two holes on each side of the tool box (in appropriate place!) and put the hook on the lip and stick it through one of the holes and then put the washer and nut on and tighten it.
Thanks!

Here's how I did it. Similar Idea.
S hooks (which I had to file a little to make them fit over bed mounting points)
Threaded eye hook.(unsure of actual name)
Also, I used a little bit of foam tape to stop the hardware from rubbing on the inside lip of the truck bed.
Hope that helps.

haha, now that I look at those pictures, I see that my truck already had holes drilled in the bed. I bought the box used and that's the hardware that came with it. I never really considered mounting it a different way...
