Moog spring swap?
I have a 93 runner that is really sweet, but it is sagging.
I know the coil swap has been discussed at length on here, but did a search and could not find what I was looking for.
Attempted the coil swap last night. Pulled out the old springs and compared them to the Moogs. They are shorter, but stronger. Put one in place and it did not seat on the rubber boot, it just did not look right.
A friend that was helping me, said the rubber boot on the bottom and top should be replaced. They look like they are in decent shape, it is that the new coils do not sit the same. Anyone experience this?
I needed the car today, so I reinstalled the old springs and put on new shocks. I though I could find the rubber pieces but have not had any luck today. The coil swap was fairly easy, so not a big deal to redo it, but just want to make sure it is right. Thanks.
