Moog balljoints
Soo I have a problem. I bought all new upper and lower balljoints for my truck. I got off work today and decided I'd take advantage of this 65 degree weather.
Well it all started as normal. I unbolted my wheel and I figured I'd start with the bottom balljoint. So I took the castle but off then poped the balljoint loose. No problems. Then I unbolted the four bolts securing the balljoint and nocked it loose. No problems. So now the balljoint is laying on the ground.
Installation: pain in my ass. I started by bolting my new balljoint in place with the 4 new bolts. Well for some reason my balljoint seems like its rounder then the hole it's sliding in. I tried knocking it in. I've sanded away dirt. I tried greasing. Nothing works. So I figured I'd try righting my bolts to pull it in place. Ok so this is working. So I poped my balljoint into lower control arm and tightened down castle nut thinking that pressure would help the balljoint slide into place. Wrong idea...... I now have a broken off bolt and a stuck balljoint. I'm screwed. I have know idea what I did wrong. I've rechecked part numbers and even compared my balljoint to the old one. Everything checks out. Ima going tomorrow to get another spindle assembly from a friend. Anyone have any ideas or ever have this problem.

Pictures of the issue would help explain which bolt is broken and what exactly you have going on. To be honest, it really sounds like you might have the wrong part, even though you've double checked the part number.
