moaning 1990 4runner
Whenever i turn, push on the brakes or anything my 4runner makes a moaning sound. why?

Check your power steering fluid. Mine leaks like a siv and if its cold out and the fluid is low it makes almost a whinning, slight grinding noise if you turn or push the brake pedal.

what kind of moan? is it related to engine speed? where does it sound like it's coming from?

does it occur in neutral?

well i think its the the power steering. because i broke the seal on the steering box.

my advce is to rebuild the steering box and check the lines
