milkshake possibility 1994 4 runner???
So im unable to find anything on a 94 4 runner having the dreaded milkshake nightmare. Is this only a problem with the later years or should i take precautions by maybe replacing rad on the 94 i just purchased? love this site and 4 runners, seems a lot of knowledge here.

the head gaskets were recently replaced. i just dont want to experience what so many others have with the radiator tranny issue. what i dont seem to find in all my searching is this being an issue on pre 95 4 runners, is this a post 95 4 runner issue, that is my question im hoping some one can chime in for piece of mind.

Any radiator that has a built-in tranny cooler has some inherent risk and certain years/models are more prone to the milkshake.

Most milkshakes come on suddenly and without warning, therefore, tough to replace the radiator as it starts to go. Prevention is the cure in this case.
BTW, 95T4rLimited I'm nearly triple your age and have been working on my own vehicles for twice your age so I'm nearly in the geezer category.....I'm do come with a bit of an opinion formed by experience at times.
There is much knowledge around here.....keep hanging out here and you'll learn lots of good stuff.

1994 3.0 questions for the pros
Is there a m.a.s in a 1994 3.0? want to clean it if there is one,cant find it?? also,,,do i have to remove the plenum to change the pvc valve? is it possible to change without removing plenum? if so how have others done it? sorry ,im a carpenter by trade so kind of a goof with cars....thanks for any advice
