Mean Green Alt on 94 4runner
anyone have any experience with installing these, does it require any re-wiring? or is it plug 'n play?

Good luck Getting a quote from them! I've been looking for an HO alternator for my 2004 Taco and haven't gotten a reply from them yet. However LC Engineering sells Mean Green alternators. Here's a link http://www.toyotacatalog.net/M1WebGe...spx?Class=1801
Two other places to check are:
http://www.highoutputalternator.com/
$649 + shipping for my taco.
http://www.qualitypowerauto.com
$440 + shipping for my taco
I believe these are all plug and play. Hope this helps!!!

Why spend that kind of money? Have you ever thought of having you stock alt re-wound? There are a ton of places that do that sort of thing......
