Better buy a whole truck and get every thing off it that you need.V6 is V6 all the way up thru the 3.4's.

do a search this topic has been talked about alot recently. Ive got some info on it im my first build thread also.

Parts needed
Trans R150F is what your looking for 88- up 5speeds in from V6's
Can use R151F with the bellhousing off the R150F. R151F has a lower first gear
Clutch
pressure plate
T/O bearing
Pilot bearing
Master cylinder
Slave
Pedal Asselmbly
Lines which you can easily make your own but be sure to have a soft line in there
As far as wiring youll have to search that but it has all been done and can be done

one of the best swaps I ever did for my truck!

You can frind complete manual trannies for about $250 +- its just finding the deal.

Search and you shall find

Look at Marlin cralwer also for some swap parts like Master and slave along with clutch kits that I highly recomend over any!

You might want to measure the rear d-shaft. I have heard the automatics use a different length shaft..

Drive shafts are different, and you will have to figure a way to trick the system into thinking its in Neutral or Park. That, or just replace the harness with a MT one.

And different bolt patterns on the flanges! But a drill will take care of that or a tripple drilled flange!

The MC will work just fine. Hes going to have to drill out the firewall to mount it. Its not a basic bolt in you have to cut! But this is cake work!
Inside dash view

outside under the hood still need to cut the bigger hole inbetween the two mounting holes for the rod that conects to the pedal

Pedal assembly should bolt right in if not get one off a 90-95 truck or 4runner and youll be good it bolts right up.

You may also want to look into getting a clutch start cancel switch! Not a bad idea if you didnt already get one!

Yeah I know I know

Yup, this info is posted in my build thread!

As for pinouts Im not sure about that stuff since I just put in a manual harness and ECU so I didnt have to deal with it. Plus the previous owner chopped the harness and so I needed a new one anyway!

Do you need a new Xfer case for the manual swap or can you re-use the Auto Xfer case?

The auto Xfer case cannot be swapped to a manual trans. it is completely different.. Hydraulically actuated I think

yea the auto and transfer are a different breed all together. Hydraulically actuated and they share fluid even. not alot of motor swaps for them. if you ever need a new setup they are lots of $$$$$$.
