Manual Hub Cone Washers

I bought some Aisin manual hubs from a local salvage yard and am going to do the hub swap while I do my brakes. My question is, should i replace the cone washers? If so, where would I get new ones? Thanks, Eric.

Good, I'll get the gaskets and the cone washers in one trip. Thanks, Eric.

Be prepared...the cone washers are like $6 each. If you have old ones they are fine to re-use.

as long as they dont break you should use them again. takes a lil bit of effort to get them out but if they are 6 bucks like Jim said. reuse them

Sheesh! At 6 bucks times 12 thats a complete rip-off and I'll use the old ones. Any idea how much the seals cost?

Marlin has them listed for $2.17 each... towards the bottom.

http://www.marlincrawler.com/htm/axles.htm

They sell a lot of seals as well, probably have what you are looking for.

Like others have stated though, I'd re-use the cone washers that look good.

I'm just going to the toyota dealership today because I won't have time to work on my truck at any other time this week. I guess convenience and bad planning (didnt know marlin carried the gaskets) have their price.

Yeah, found that out the hard way. Went there to get the parts and it was closed, yet there was a guy working there. Instead, I just checked out the Tacos and Cruisers.

Agreed. Why does everyone overlook the most likely place?

Well, I dint know you had old ones??? JUst assumed you needed them to go to stock Yota hubs. Otherwise, I would of said, reuse them. I have never had to replace them.
