Major idle/ running problems on 3vze
So i tried to do some searching around, but everything i read doesnt sound
like the problem i have.
so i got my new 3vze in new headgasket and such
When i start it up it has lots of trouble starting sputters around at 2-300 rpm
then it catches and goes up to like 3500-4000 then goes down to a 2000-2700
rpm idle i fixed a vacum leak at the throttle body, now im just stumped. dont even
know where to begin should i back the timing off, i'd like to be able to know how
to adjust the tps but i dont know if that is the problem but it could be
When i drove it i would start going and give it gas and the truck would just keep
giving me throttle and then i would shift gears and the rpm would just go up to
5k rpms sometimes.
don't even know any help would be macho aprechiato

get some brake or carb cleaner and with the engine running spray it around the intake and vacuum lines. if idle changes, you have a leak. don't spray it on or near the distributor cap, or flames will result.
