the MAF on the inside

Well, since i do in fact need the MAF (sorry about previous thread), i broke some connectors, so i need to rewire.

I took it apart so it should be relatively easy, and I have a soldering iron, so...

ya, thanks

you didn't release the tension on the spring did you? I hear that it's near impossible to get it back to the factory setting once that happens.

The shame is that there are many threads regarding this along with countless warnings.

where can I get a MAF for my 22re? They work better than the AFM from the factory.

You mean the two screws on the remnants of the plug-in? The previous owner did that and left the plug in taped to the fender ( I new little about fuel injection engines before this truck). Oddly, somehow the truck still ran just fine.

only thing the MAF really does is seal off air while starting and improve economy a little. MAPs are better, but they mostly come with turbo cars.

Damn
