a little help. never messed with t-bars before. Mine are cranked way to high, truck was bought this way, i want to lower them down. I know ill need an alignment, but a little step by step would be cool. truck specs in sig.

All you have to do is spin the bolts...
Trace the torsion bar back along the frame rail and youll see a box/bolt near the tranny/transfer case x member...
Just be sure to measure fender lip to top of rim...
Deff search on this topic, theres a few good threads on which way to turn/how many turns will higher/lower it...
good luck

Start out on a level surface and if the truck looks level, side to side, you should be able to lower it by loosening the said bolts equally. Be sure to loosen any jam nuts on the other side of the adjusting arm and hold the nuts as you loosen the bolts. Better yet, with a ratcheting boxed wrench you can loosen the nuts and not put so much stress on the bolt head.
Measure side to side(LF and RF) and, yes have it aligned.
Bonus:Its gonna ride a little nicer.
