Lower Ball Joint
My front passenger side lower ball joint is shot. Any reccomendations on what type of ball joint i should purchase? Any particular brand? Greaseable or non-greaseable? Thanks!

Order the Beck Arnley ones on amazon. Like 30 or so a piece. I just ordered some a couple weeks ago and inside the box were Sankei (555) joints. Basically short of Toyota, I think its as good as you can get. Also, they are grease able.

The Moog upper & lower ball joints I bought at Rockauto are also stamped 555 & say "Made In Japan" They come with grease fittings in the bag but as the sit in the sealed plastic bag there is a bolt in that spot just like the OEM ball joints are on the truck.
D'oh...double post. I didn't see a way to delete the first one.

Greasable are the best bet, and if they come with a bolt in place of the zerk fitting, that's just so you can remove the zerk after greasing. Put the zerk in, grease, pull the zerk and replace with the bolt- then nothing to break off on the trails.
