low rmp misfire no codes
I just rplaced my TPS and now my truck misfires at about 1000 to 1200 rpm. I have an 89 with a 22re with a manufacture date of april but the other throttle body for that year is in my truck. It idles fine and drives above the stated rpm fine. I tried to adjust the tps how my book said to and also how a tech at a local toyota dealer told me, but no change. I put everything back to how the truck was when I got it, it always had a pending tps code until I changed it when it set the engine light. It will not misfire if I disconect the tps. I am hoping the only answer I get isn't follow the schematic to find what is directly inline with the tps, that is about where I am at with it. Any input is apreciated, thanx.

try this:
... put a jumper between the TE1 / E1 terminals in the diagnostic connector...
... loosen and rotate the top of the TPS towards the firewall until the idle speed jumps up ...
... slowly rotate the top of the TPS towards the radiator just until the idle speed drops, then lock it down.
and make sure to clear codes by disconnecting the EFI fuse or battery for a couple of minutes.
