Low-Profile Bumpstops -ES part number?
Does anyone know the part number for the energy suspension bumpstops that will fit an 86 4runner. Also, do you need 2 or 4 bumpstops to do the whole front end? Cheap place to buy?
thanks in advance,
jeff

It depends on whether you want them for both compression and droop. If you want them for both, then you need 6. I only have them on my compression bumpstops as I have bj spacers and can't have them on my droop bumpstops as it would allow too much droop. So I only have 4.

So what's better? Low pro droop stops or BJ spacers? My runner is going to be recieving a little attitude here in the spring and I want to do it right, and without a solid axle lol.

bj spacers with low pros on the lower bumpstops. whether you use the spacers for lift or not, you just gained about 2.5 more inches of suspension travel with this setup.

Alright, I know what I'm doing, I found a really good line on an Ironman 2.5 inch lift so I'm going to run that with low profile lower bumps and per common reccomendation, bj spacers. I have a feeling the tbars will be too stiff and if they are I will switch them out with ome's or go back to the stockers. Thanks!

1. So is there any risks to going with both the compression & droop low-pro bumpstops? read -> CV damage likely?
2. I keep getting told that BJ spacers put your CV at high risk. Is there any truth to this?
-frozen.
PS: do you guys have any snow in Colorado yet?

I think the only time low pro bumps all around would be bad is if you ran bj spacers as well. I think some people even shim the droop stops up if they run bj spacers. I'll let you know when I do it.
